My second major painting for 2009. This task was one of appropriation, so I decided to (loosely) use an artwork by Renoir entitled Girl with a cat.
Creating this piece taught me many valuable lessons in the dos and don'ts of traditional oil painting. The girl depicted is my best friend Stefanie. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
